I have been paddling for over 20 years and is an active member of Northampton Canoe & Kayak Club. My main paddling spot is the Nene Whitewater Centre in Northampton with trips to other paddling spots e.g National Watersports Centre in Nottingham, Hurley, Washburn, North Wales, Scotland, Norway, France etc.

I have a BCU Level 3 Kayak coaching qualification and work as a freelance Freestyle, Whitewater & Flatwater coach at Nene Whitewater Centre, I also hold BCU 5 Star award, WW Safety & Rescue and Coaching Processors. I have regularly paddled at National & International Freestyle Events and in January 2004 I paddled in the 2004 Freestyle Pre-World in Australia as a member of the British Freestyle Team.

I am currently the Team Manger for the Squarerock Team and help with the day to day running of the Team and the website.

My main job is a Graphic Designer for RS Components. I also work as a freelance Web & Graphic designer, see Web & Graphic Design tab for examples of my work.

I run a range of coaching session for the Nene Whitewater Centre, most are 1 to 1 or small groups. These sessions are for 2 hours and can be structure to the individuals needs and are all run from the Nene Whitewater Centre, Northampton.

Whitewater Sessions

2 hour session, Equipment is included - Cost from £30.00 to £50.00 each

• Whitewater Beginner - aimed at 2 Star+ who want to get in to whitewater paddling.
• Whitewater Improvers - aimed at paddlers who can break in & out who want to improve their whitewater skills
• Freestyle Beginners - aimed at paddlers with a good roll and a good level of padling on grade 2 whitewater who want to start surfing, getting the boat on end and start looking at the basic freestyle moves.
• Freestyle intermediate - aimed at paddlers with a good roll and a good level of padling on grade 2 whitewater who want to move on to cartwheeling, looping and the more advance moves.

Flatwater Sessions

2 hour session, Equipment is included - Cost from £20.00 to £45.00 each

• Flatwater Come & try it - aimed at complete beginners how just want to give the sport a go.
• Flatwater improvers - aimed at paddlers looking to improve their 1/2/3 star skills.
